Responsibilities

The Beautician will provide services to residents who have signed up in advance and will coordinate closely with the facility’s Business Office to ensure proper payment handling for each resident
Provide cosmetology services to residents in a professional and compassionate manner
Work from a resident sign-up list provided by the facility
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized salon space
Communicate with the Business Office to confirm payment source prior to services
Post and maintain clear, transparent pricing for all services
Adhere to infection control, safety, and facility policies
Respect resident rights, dignity, and privacy at all times
On-site salon space is provided by the facility
Residents may require extra time, mobility support, or gentle accommodations
Service pricing is set by the Beautician and must be provided to the facility
Pricing should be fair and reasonable, recognizing residents may be on Medicaid or have limited income
Job description
We are seeking a licensed Beautician/Cosmetologist to provide on-site personal care services to residents in our skilled nursing facility. This is an independent contractor role offering a scheduled service day every other week.

The Beautician will provide services to residents who have signed up in advance and will coordinate closely with the facility’s Business Office to ensure proper payment handling for each resident.

Independent Contractor Status
