Job Description:
• Conceptualize a clear vision of user-centric best-in-class designs to senior executives.
• Provide a fresh perspective on existing solutions and resolve complex designs with creative ideas.
• Craft user experiences alongside key product stakeholders with innovation and deliver extraordinary results.
• Create close working alliances with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams to shape and deliver design vision and strategy.
• Uncover and decode the latent and unmet needs of our users, successfully converting their needs into solutions.
• Lead customer research and apply insights to generate experiences that deliver customer delight.
• Coach and guide teams through all stages of the product design and development lifecycle, including generative research, concepting and definition, prototyping, UI design, and testing.
• Lead user interviews and testing to gain key insight to improve our products.
Skills:
• Familiarity with tools like Sketch, Azure, Invision,proto.io, Balsamiq, PowerPoint is expected
• Fluency with design tools like Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Invision and/or other UX & prototyping software
• Exceptional skills in ideation, sketching, wireframing, user flows, mapping, and information architecture.
• Clear and current understanding of the capabilities and limitations of HTML, CSS, JavaScript & developing platforms.
• Ability to understand customer needs (implicit and explicit), motivations and behaviours and translate them into delightful customer experiences.
• Should be up to date with general UX trends, best practices, design principles and tools/techniques.
• Exposure to agile working environments and methodologies working autonomously.
• Ability to communicate/demonstrate the value and rationale of UX decisions to stakeholders.
• Ability to quickly grasp processes and use-cases in a complex business domain.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience and relevant, user-centred design solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of relevant experience in UX product design function InDesign-oriented systems on web products.
• Masters or bachelor’s in design will be an added advantage.
