Description:
The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Utility (Housekeeping), to join our small but high performing site services team.
Regis utilises an Owner/Operator model for our village services, meaning you would be employed directly by Regis - not a village services provider.
This is a permanent site-based role, on a 2:1 FIFO roster reporting to the Village Supervisor.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
Maintain quality and hygiene standards
Cleaning of village accommodation, ablution blocks and other associated areas
Ensure quality of cleaning to statutory hygiene standards
Operate within laundry services, including washing, drying, and folding linen
Understanding of waste disposal and recycling practices
Safe handling of chemicals, as per the MSDS
About you
To be successful for this role, you will have:
Previous cleaning/Housekeeping experience
Demonstrated experience working in a remote village environment
Ability to manage repetitive and physical tasks, including heavy lifting and bending
Ability to work 10-12-hour shifts
A solid work ethic and strong desire to do things safely and efficiently
Capability to work cooperatively with peers and management
Current WA manual drivers licence
