Job Description
UX Researcher :
As a User Experience Researcher you will work with our design, product, and development stakeholders to lead, plan, execute and deliver user research projects/activities with a goal of better understanding users' needs and pain points, and to help us craft simple, delightful experiences for our users. Our business revolves around users and it's the most important facet to understand their role, their expectation from the products/services they use in their daily life and build delightful products accordingly.
Job description :
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative UX research at all the stages of the product life cycle, from discovery to validation, using a variety of research methods leading to a clear understanding of user needs. At each stage, you will anticipate what our users need and ensure that the final product surprises and delights them.
• You will explore user intent and motivations by conducting primary research such as user interviews, participatory workshops, field studies, ethnography, surveys, usability testing, questionnaire development, data analysis.
• You will constantly interact with our users to understand how they consume and navigate their way through our products.
• You will identify ways to enhance the experience and produce actionable research insights to guide the design strategy.
• Actively monitor and analyze research, data, and trends from internal sources, and industry insights to inform and optimize the overall approach.
• Collaborate with teams of engineers and product managers throughout the design process building user flows, wireframes, user-interface mock-ups and prototypes and whatever else it takes to realise your vision.
• Prototype and test design and product solutions fast, and multiple times to ship the best possible option.
Desired skills :
• Experience: 1+ years, preferably in mobile / apps / responsive layouts and consumer facing digital products
• A deep empathy for the user and a desire to learn as much as possible about how they use our products
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to test fast and learn fast
• Deep understanding of Android / iOS HID guidelines, UX trends & standards, user centered design principles & practices
• Strong working knowledge of typography, layout, color, and visual communications
• A degree in market research, psychology, sociology, human-computer interaction, anthropology, or related discipline will be an added advantage.
• Experience conducting user interviews, contextual field visits, usability studies either live or remote, A/B testing, design of experiments, statistical analyses, etc.
• Expert in design tools - Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Sketch, Figma, Invision, Principle
• modelling, wire framing and prototyping, user testing, and high fidelity visuals
• Must have a portfolio that demonstrates strong design & problem solving skills
• Familiar with UX research tools such as User Testing, User Zoom, Usabilla, Userlytics, Qualtrics, Dscout, Hotjar, Morae, etc.
• Familiar with end-to-end iterative product design process, including how to develop and use personas, job stories, journey mapping, content
• Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, jQuery will be an added advantage
