Job Description:

HCL Healthcare is urgently hiring an OPD Staff Nurse to join our team. As an OPD Staff Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care in an outpatient department setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in treating emergency cases, managing patient care, and supporting the continuous development of healthcare staff. This role involves ensuring the safety and health of both patients and staff by identifying workplace hazards and implementing preventive measures.

You will be responsible for providing first-class patient care, assisting doctors with treatments, and maintaining accurate records of patient injuries and illnesses. Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality patient care in the outpatient department (OPD) at HCL Healthcare, ensuring timely treatment and support.
• Assist in the continuous development of staff by providing necessary guidance and training.
• Treat emergency injuries in the OPD and ensure that patients receive immediate care.
• Identify and document workplace hazards, offering solutions to improve health and safety standards.
• Develop and implement programs that help maintain health and safety in the workplace.
• Monitor work-related risks, ensuring the safety of both patients and healthcare staff.
• Document all patient injuries, illnesses, and treatments, maintaining accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure compliance with medical protocols and hospital policies.
• Educate patients and their families on preventive healthcare measures.

Requirements:
• B.Sc Nursing or General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) from a recognized institution.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as an OPD Staff Nurse, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of OPD procedures, including emergency care and patient management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration.
• Ability to identify and solve workplace hazards and health risks.
• Proficient in documenting patient records and maintaining confidentiality.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple cases simultaneously.
