Job Description:

As a Lab Technician Incharge, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of laboratory testing procedures and maintaining high standards of quality control and safety.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate daily laboratory activities, including sample collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting of results.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring proper functioning and calibration.
• Train and mentor junior lab technicians and staff on laboratory procedures and protocols.
• Ensure compliance with all laboratory policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels of laboratory supplies and reagents, and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and clinical teams to provide accurate and timely test results.
• Maintain accurate records of all tests performed and results obtained.
• Implement and maintain quality control and assurance programs within the laboratory.
• Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay updated with advancements in laboratory technology and procedures.
Requirements:
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Lab Technician, with at least 3-5 years in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Sound knowledge of laboratory testing methodologies and quality control processes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
