Job Role: Lead Designer
- Drive exceptional product design and aesthetics aligned with business strategy.
- Oversee the entire product development process, from concept and design to sampling.
- Identify key profit drivers at the start of the season and collaborate with the team to ensure successful delivery.
- Conceptualize and develop commercially viable kidswear collections to meet monthly targets.
- Design cost-effective, production-friendly collections with a hands-on approach to brand development.
- Develop mood boards, color boards, illustrations, graphics tech packs.
Desired Skills and Abilities:
- Leadership - Proven leadership in design and product development, with a strong track record of owning and delivering projects efficiently.
- Team Player - Provide clear direction, collaborate with teams, and coordinate with sourcing and buying to ensure accurate product translation at the sampling stage, while reviewing fits with the Tech team before production.
- Design Sense - good understanding of fashion trends, concepts principles of design.
- Creativity - should be able to come up with innovative concepts designs to stay ahead of competition.
- Technical Skills - knowledge of technical specifications and functionality of apparel non-apparel and characteristics of various fabrics technique etc.
- Software Knowledge- should be able to work seamlessly in Illustrator, Photoshop PowerPoint.
- Attention to Detail - should have focus on all areas no matter how small.
- Time Management - should be able to submit work as per timelines.
- Adaptability - should be open minded.
Education Experience Required:
- 4-5 years of work experience
- Graduate in Fashion design from any reputed fashion institute in India or abroad like NIFT etc
- Energy, enthusiasm and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Have worked with known brand in Kids wear category.
