About Fotello
Fotello is an AI-powered platform built for real estate creators. In under a year, our systems have processed millions of images and are quickly becoming the default editing and delivery tool for real estate photographers across North America.
The next chapter is bigger: building the complete operating system for real estate media companies.
This role is not about making static mock ups that never ship. You will design and build interfaces that are used daily by real customers in the real world.
The Role
As a UI/UX Engineer, you will sit at the intersection of design and engineering. You’ll design intuitive user experiences and translate them into high-quality, production-ready interfaces.
You’ll work closely with product, engineering, and founders to shape how users interact with Fotello—from first click to daily workflows. Your work will move to production fast, and you’ll see direct feedback from real users.
You will work on:
• Designing end-to-end user experiences for web-based products
• Translating designs into responsive, high-quality UI using modern frontend frameworks
• Collaborating with engineers to ensure design feasibility and implementation quality
• Improving usability, accessibility, and interaction flows across the platform
• Creating and maintaining design systems, components, and UI patterns
• Conducting quick user feedback loops and iterating based on insights
• Balancing aesthetics with performance, scalability, and real-world constraints
Your designs and code will ship quickly—and directly impact thousands of users.
Who Should Apply
1–3 years of experience in UI/UX design, frontend, or UI engineering roles
Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and visual hierarchy
• Experience working with tools like Figma (or equivalent)
• Ability to convert designs into clean, maintainable frontend code (React / TypeScript preferred)
• Comfort working in fast-paced environments with evolving requirements
• Strong attention to detail and a user-first mindset
• Portfolio showcasing shipped products, case studies, or live projects is a big plus
