Designation : Web Designer (UI/UX)
Experience : 5 to 8 :
• Design and produce graphics for a variety of projects, including our website, digital courses, promotional materials, and corporate identity.
• Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to create effective design solutions for both digital and print media.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in design tools and technology to ensure the highest quality and relevance of our design work.
• Manage multiple design projects from conception to completion, adhering to tight deadlines.
• Conceptualizing creative ideas with clients.
• Testing and improving the design of the website.
• Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
• Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding for clients.
• Working with different content management systems.
• Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps and wire-frames.
• Incorporating functionalities and features into websites.
• Designing sample pages including colors and fonts.
Requirement
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in graphic design, preferably within the edtech or related sectors.
• A strong portfolio that showcases a wide range of graphic design skills, including UI/UX design projects.
• Proficiency in design software and technologies, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), CorelDRAW, Sketch, Figma, and Adobe XD.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
• Capable of presenting design concepts and solutions effectively to stakeholders.
• A degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in UI/UX design, with a thorough understanding of user- centered design principles, will be highly regarded.
• Has worked on responsive sites, using bootstrap or similar frameworks.
• Has strong UI ability to provide design suggestions to layouts.
• Create PSDs for the visual layout of web pages and convert each design into HTML and CSS
• Maintain and update all JQuery plugins for the website
• Create mock-ups for proposed project pages and update them as needed
• Knowledge of WordPress and other frameworks added advantage
