Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced UI/UX cum Graphic Design Trainer who can train students in design fundamentals, visual communication, branding, interface design, user experience process, design software, and portfolio projects. The trainer should be able to teach from beginner to advanced level and help students build practical skills for jobs, internships, freelance work, and personal portfolios.
The ideal candidate should have strong design sense, software knowledge, industry understanding, and the ability to guide students through creative thinking as well as professional execution.
Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Delivery
Conduct classroom and lab sessions for UI/UX Design and Graphic Design courses
Teach students through practical exercises, concept sessions, live examples, assignments, and projects
Train students in both theory and software execution with a portfolio-focused approach
Handle offline and online batches if required
Maintain discipline, engagement, and a productive classroom environment
UI/UX Design Training
Teach the basics of user interface design and user experience design
Cover wireframing, user flow, information architecture, design systems, usability basics, and prototyping
Train students in website and mobile app interface design
Help students understand user research basics, layout planning, color usage, typography, spacing, hierarchy, and interaction flow
Guide students in Figma, Adobe XD, and relevant UI tools as per curriculum
Mentor students in building case studies, design presentations, and app or website UI projects
Graphic Design Training
Teach design fundamentals such as composition, color theory, typography, branding, layout, and visual hierarchy
Train students in logo design, social media creatives, brochures, posters, branding material, marketing creatives, and print design
Teach Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, CorelDRAW, and other relevant software as required
Guide students in concept development, sketching basics, idea generation, and creative execution
Help students create real-world design assignments and portfolio-ready work
Student Development
Track student attendance, progress, assignments, and creative development
Conduct assessments, project reviews, practical tests, and portfolio evaluations
Support weak students through additional guidance where needed
Help students build portfolios on Behance, PDF portfolio format, and presentation sheets
Prepare students for job interviews, internships, design tests, and client-oriented work
Academic and Department Support
Follow the prescribed syllabus and batch plan
Upgrade modules and content as per current design trends and software updates
Prepare notes, assignments, design briefs, and project tasks
Coordinate with academic team, center manager, and placement team
Take part in workshops, seminars, demo lectures, events, and promotional academic activities
Maintain records of student progress, class delivery, and feedback

Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or certification in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or related field
Prior experience as a trainer, faculty member, mentor, or senior designer preferred
Industry experience in graphic design, branding, UI design, or digital design will be an added advantage
Should have a strong portfolio of design work
Should be confident, presentable, disciplined, and student-friendly
Should be comfortable teaching students from beginner to advanced level
Preferred Experience
Experience in teaching both Graphic Design and UI/UX under one profile
Experience in mentoring portfolio projects and case studies
Experience in preparing students for job-oriented design roles
Working knowledge of AI tools for design workflows will be an added advantage
Knowledge of web layout aesthetics, modern digital branding, and social media creative trends will be preferred
