Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Panvel for a UAV Avionics Electronics Development Engineer. The role involves designing, developing, and testing electronic circuits and avionics systems for UAV platforms, including power distribution, sensor interfaces, communication modules, and control electronics. The engineer will create schematics, select components, support PCB layout, and collaborate closely with mechanical, software, and flight test teams to integrate and validate systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware issues, optimizing analogue and digital signal paths, performing bench and field testing, and documenting designs, test results, and engineering changes. The position also includes supporting prototype builds, refining designs for manufacturability and reliability, and contributing to safety and compliance reviews.
Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Electronic Engineering and Electronics for embedded and avionics applications.
• Proficiency in Circuit Design, including schematic capture and collaboration on PCB layout.
• Knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles relevant to power systems, signal integrity, and grounding.
• Hands-on experience with analogue circuit design and mixed-signal hardware integration.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and logic analyzers.
• Familiarity with UAV systems, avionics architectures, or embedded control systems is highly beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, datasheets, and industry standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively on-site in Panvel.
