TUTOR FOR STUDENT TRANSITIONING FROM 1st GRADE to 2nd GRADE
Midtown Palo Alto Flexible schedule
Seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and dedicated tutor to work one-on-one with our 7-year-old daughter. If you enjoy working with kids to make learning fun, interactive, and build their confidence, please contact us.
Role
Build reading, writing, math, and reasoning skills (1st grade/2nd grade level)
Use playful and hands-on strategies to keep sessions engaging
Reinforce school skills and boost confidence
Develop activities tailored to her strengths and growth areas
Create a supportive and positive environment
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, or related field
Experience with young children + early literacy/numeracy
Patient, creative, and enthusiastic teaching style
Ability to adapt lessons to her interests & learning style
Details
Summer schedule: 10 hours/week (M-F mornings)
Post-summer schedule: 8–10 hours/week (M, W, Th, F afternoons + Sat mornings)
Location: Midtown Palo Alto
Compensation: $50/hr
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
