Looking to get the most out of your upcoming internship?

Hatch is seeking a Civil Engineering Student with interest in Underground Structures and Tunnels engineering for a 4-month internship starting September 2025. Reporting to Tunnels Project Engineers you will support offices globally working from our Mississauga office.

As the successful candidate, you will:
Work as part of a design team, assisting with conceptual, preliminary and detailed design; site inspection; design calculations, report writing.
Coordinate with engineers, designers and related disciplines as required to assist with project deliverables.
Prepare design submissions and other technical documents.

You bring to the role:
Currently enrolled in Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Relevant courses:
Civil
Structural
Geotechnics
Utilities
Project Management
Knowledge of current technical engineering codes and practices.
Proficiency in the use of either or: AutoCAD, MicroStation and/or Civil3D
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).
Problem solving and analytical skills.
