Do you have a passion for wine, beer and spirits? If your answer is yes, we would like you to be apart of our team!
The Tudor House Liquor Store is a world class building located within the heart of Esquimalt. We have been nominated for numerous awards and recently won the award for retail excellence. Our store is known for having one of the biggest and best selections on the Island and within BC. We strive to provide friendly customer service and a positive work environment for all staff.
As our business grows there will be advancement opportunities for motivated individuals who show passion and a strong work ethic. We also provide the opportunity for you to expand your liquor palate and learn more about wine, spirits, and beer.
Position Details:
- Permanent, Full time or Part time. Weekends and night shifts (3:15- 11:15 pm) are a must.
Desired Qualifications:
-Prior experience working retail and or hospitality
-WSET Certifications
-First Aid
-Drivers License, we provide the delivery vehicle
-Needs to be able to work holidays such as Christmas and New Years
Skills Required:
- Great work ethic
- Receives direction well
- Organized
- Completes tasks
- Positive attitude, punctual & reliable
- Flexible availability
- Strong customer service & communication skills
- Must be able to lift 35lbs
- Must have Serving It Right
- All candidates must be 19 years of age.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with product selection and provide knowledgeable recommendations on liquor offerings.
- Operate the POS system efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Maintain store organization and cleanliness, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed.
- Adhere to Serving It Right guidelines and safety protocols, ensuring a responsible shopping environment.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.
- Complete deliveries to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
