Treasury Specialist
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Manage relationships with banks and coordinate all banking operations.
• Handle foreign exchange (FX) transactions, including spot, forward, and hedging contracts.
• Monitor foreign currency exposures and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to ensure optimal fund utilization.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and ensure adequate funding for business operations.
• Negotiate banking facilities, including loans, credit limits, and other financial arrangements.
• Process and oversee domestic and international payment transactions.
• Ensure compliance with treasury policies, internal controls, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Monitor interest rate movements and optimize the investment of surplus funds.
• Track and monitor compliance with financial covenants in line with the organization's financial performance.
• Prepare periodic treasury reports and management MIS.
• Manage accounts receivable collections and monitor outstanding receivables.
• Prepare periodic unaudited financial statements and financial projections to support loan enhancement and banking requirements.
Qualifications
• B.Com with MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
• CA Semi-Qualified.
Experience
• B.Com + MBA: 5–9 years of relevant experience in Treasury, Banking, or Corporate Finance.
• CA Semi-Qualified: 3–7 years of relevant experience in Treasury, Banking, or Corporate Finance.
Required Skills
• Sound knowledge of treasury operations, banking products, cash flow management, and foreign exchange, hedging, loan facilitation & negotiation with bankers.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Focus ERP, SAP, or Oracle NetSuite.
