Job Description:
We are seeking a Travel Sales Consultant to join our team at our Jaipur office. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating leads, handling collaborations, interacting with clients to guide them in choosing the best deals according to their requirements, and coordinating arrangements for art workshops.
Responsibilities:
• Study and assimilate all information regarding travel destinations such as prices, weather, language, currency, customs, etc.
• Connect with hotels' guest relations and concierge team to upsell our art experiences and build a network.
• Look for new hotel collaborations.
• Connect and collaborate with volunteers for art experiences.
• Find different business development opportunities to upsell our art experiences.
• Sell the appropriate tour package to the right customer.
• Regularly maintain a good relationship with our customers.
• Provide end-to-end service while organizing a trip from booking the tickets, reserving the hotels, and creating the itinerary.
• Provide all relevant and essential information to the tourists regarding their travel like guides, itineraries, brochures, and maps.
• Regularly update a database containing client details and ensure this data is secured and handled appropriately.
• Stay up to date on domestic and international travel trends.
• Connect with hospitality and tour agencies to collaborate and add our art experiences in their itineraries.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in travel and tourism, hospitality business, or relevant fields.
2-3 years of experience as a travel agent or an avid traveller is a bonus.
Strong knowledge of travelling software and procedures.
Basic computer skills and software like MS Office.
Multilingualism is an advantage.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Efficient negotiation and sales skills.
Up to date with domestic and international travel trends.
Interest in art related activities.
Experience in curating tour packages.
Experience in marketing experiences.
About the Job
This is an entry-level job suitable for someone with 1-2 years of work experience. The job requires working on-site at our Jaipur office in Adinath Nagar opposite WTP Mall. Work timings are +.45 AM to 7.30 PM (6 days a week).
Estimated Salary: ₹800,000 - ₹1,200,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience
