Job Description:
Job Summary:
The Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo is responsible for providing friendly and efficient customer service, accurately processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized sales area within our travel plaza environment.
Job Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service, answering questions and assisting with product location.
Accurately operate a cash register, handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, and providing correct change.
Scan and bag merchandise efficiently and carefully.
Reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring accuracy.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including shelves and displays.
Stock shelves and coolers as needed, ensuring products are faced and rotated.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.
Job Qualifications:
Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally..
