We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
Accurately dispense prescribed medications in accordance with prescriptions and pharmacy protocols
Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution
Maintain precise records of dispensed medicines and inventory levels
Provide guidance to patients on medication usage and storage, ensuring clear understanding
Support medication administration procedures under supervision, adhering to safety standards
Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
Assist with stock management, including ordering and receiving supplies
Handle patient enquiries professionally, offering compassionate support and information
Qualifications
Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar role is highly desirable
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy software systems
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to minimise errors
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
A recognised qualification or certification in pharmacy assistance or related field is advantageous
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to professional standards
