• *Job Description**:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Trainee Lawyer to join our team and assist in handling cases related to IPC 354, IPC 376, and POCSO. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and hands-on experience in litigation, advocacy, and legal research.
• *Responsibilities**:
1. Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant case laws, statutes, and regulations pertaining to IPC 354, IPC 376, and POCSO.
2. Assist senior lawyers in drafting legal documents, including complaints, petitions, affidavits, and legal opinions.
3. Participate in client meetings, interviews, and case discussions to gather relevant information and evidence.
4. Assist in case preparation, including compiling evidence, organizing documents, and preparing case summaries.
5. Attend court proceedings, hearings, and trials to observe and assist in courtroom advocacy and representation.
6. Collaborate with other team members, including paralegals, investigators, and support staff, to ensure effective case management and client satisfaction.
7. Stay updated on developments in relevant areas of law, including amendments, judgments, and legal trends.
• *Requirements**:
1. LLB or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
2. Enrollment as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa.
3. Strong understanding of criminal law, particularly IPC 354, IPC 376, and POCSO.
4. Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Prior internship or work experience in criminal litigation is preferred but not mandatory.
