About the job:



We’re looking for a Trade Assistant to join our Pumps Storage Team here in Christchurch!



In this role you will be repairing and maintaining LPSS pumps, mechanical assets and pipework associated with water and wastewater pump station infrastructure. Due to the diverse nature of the role, you must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.



What you’ll need:



Ideally you will have previous experience working on water and wastewater infrastructure and some welding experience.
Holding a Traffic Management qualification, would be extremely advantageous.
You will need to be physically fit and health and safety focused.
A full class 1 licence is also essential.


All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer’s satisfaction. These checks include but are not limited to, ministry of Justice criminal conviction report, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing.
