Job Overview
As a trademark lawyer, you will be responsible for managing the intellectual property portfolio of multiple global brands. This includes clearance, prosecution, maintenance, and enforcement of trademarks across various regions.
Your role will involve providing strategic advice to teams on branding, trademarks, copyrights, and domain names. You will also develop and implement policies for intellectual property protection and educate business stakeholders on IP matters.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
A J.D. degree and membership in good standing in at least one state bar
At least 3 years of relevant experience with trademark and copyright issues, including experience with global trademark portfolios
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to understand and resolve complex legal and business issues
Experience leading investigations and negotiations to resolve third-party trademark disputes
Ability to effectively translate IP issues to members of the creative, technology, business, management, and legal teams
Creativity, attention to detail, commitment to customer service, and excellent communication skills
