ROLE DESCRIPTION
Meenaar Global Consultants LLP (MGCLLP), an ISO/IEC 17020 Type-A accredited Third Party Inspection (TPI) body founded by ex-Engineers India Limited (EIL) professionals, is hiring TPI Engineers for BPCL City Gas Distribution (CGD) Projects across Karnataka. The role involves end-to-end inspection and quality control for MDPE pipeline, GI pipeline, and LMC activities including laying, testing, commissioning, and documentation in compliance with PNGRB regulations and OISD standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Third Party Inspection (TPI) of MDPE pipeline and GI pipeline laying preliminary route survey, trenching, lowering, backfilling, compaction, and reinstatement works
• Electrofusion jointing inspection; pneumatic pressure testing, dewatering, purging, flushing, and gas charging
• HDD crossing inspection and profile verification rail, road, river, and nallah crossings
• Installation, testing, and commissioning inspection of regulators, meters, SV installations, and field regulating stations (FRS)
• HDPE conduit and optical fibre cable (OFC) laying oversight
• Compilation and submission of DPR (Daily Progress Reports) and FPR (Fortnightly Progress Reports) to client
• Verification and certification of laying graphs, inspection reports, GIS drawings, and as-built / as-graph drawings
• RFC (Ready for Conversion) and JMR (Joint Meter Records) compilation and submission
ITP (Inspection and Test Plan) finalisation; PESO drawing, structural drawing, and soil test report compilation
• Field mobility reporting through client's digital platform module
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical, Civil, Pipeline Engineering or equivalent)
• Experience: CGD projects, MDPE pipeline, LMC pipeline, PE pipeline,
• QA/QC inspection, or TPI roles
• Knowledge: PNGRB regulations, OISD standards, CGD pipeline construction, and safety compliance
• Skills: Site inspection, quality documentation, ITP management, and test report certification
• Sector: Oil & Gas / Hydrocarbon / CGD / Pipeline / Petrochemical background preferred
• Immediate joiners will be given preference
