Title Clerk/Administrative Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Title Clerk/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is vital in managing vehicle title documentation, supporting dealership operations, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for automotive sales and administrative excellence. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth transaction processes, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with various administrative tasks to support our sales team and dealership operations.
Duties
Process vehicle titles, registrations, and related paperwork accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
Manage the sales pipeline by tracking customer interactions, follow-ups, and sales progress using dealership management software
Assist with inventory management, including updating vehicle records and coordinating inventory control procedures
Provide outstanding customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions; handle inquiries with professionalism and clarity
Support outbound sales efforts by preparing documentation, following up with prospects, and maintaining organized records of sales activities
Maintain dealership records meticulously, including cashiering transactions, retail math calculations, and administrative reports
Coordinate with sales staff on high-end sales opportunities and assist in public speaking or promotional events when needed
Experience
Previous experience in automotive repair or dealership environments is highly preferred
Strong background in retail sales, retail math, inventory management, and inventory control
Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline effectively and support sales management strategies
Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus to serve diverse customer bases
Excellent communication skills with phone etiquette proficiency and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Experience in outbound sales or public speaking enhances the ability to engage customers confidently
Prior administrative experience is essential for managing documentation, reports, and dealership records effectively

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
