We are looking to fill the position of Ticket Checker at Fernie Alpine Resort. Our guests are eager for you to greet them as they excitedly get ready to get hit the slopes for the day. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, be physically fit and enjoy working in an outdoor mountain environment. You Will:
Ensure a comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff
Meet and greet every guest
Scan tickets and passes at the bottom of lift terminals
Escort customers to Guest Services as required
Assist with lift operations and/or terrain park as needed
Training provided with scanners
Training provided on fraud scenarios
Communicate and deliver snow and trail condition reports throughout resort
Know and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs
Perform other tasks and duties that are applicable

Good communication & interpersonal skills
Love for the outdoors!
