Job Description
Elpro International School is seeking a dynamic, skilled, and passionate TGT French Teacher to join our language department. The ideal candidate will have a deep love for the French language and culture and a commitment to fostering language proficiency in students. As a TGT French Teacher for grades 9th and 10th, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality French language lessons, developing students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, and creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Delivery: Teach French to students in grades 6th to 8th, following the CBSE curriculum, with a focus on language acquisition, grammar, vocabulary, and cultural knowledge.
Lesson Planning: Design and implement engaging and comprehensive lesson plans, ensuring that lessons are both challenging and accessible for all students, and aligned with the curriculum.
Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, interactive, and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging active student participation and fostering a love for the French language and culture.
Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct regular assessments (both formative and summative) to evaluate students’ understanding, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Language Skills Development: Focus on improving students’ proficiency in French, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing, through a variety of methods including role-plays, discussions, and written exercises.
Cultural Integration: Integrate French culture, traditions, and current events into lessons to give students a broader understanding of the language’s context and global significance.
Student Support: Provide additional support for students who need help with the language, including offering remedial lessons or one-on-one assistance when necessary.
Parent Communication: Regularly communicate with parents about their child’s progress, concerns, and achievements, offering suggestions for home-based learning.
Professional Development: Continuously improve teaching practices by attending relevant workshops, conferences, and engaging with new pedagogical strategies and materials.
Collaboration: Work closely with other language teachers and staff to develop cross-curricular activities and school-wide initiatives that promote language learning and cultural exchange.
Extra-Curricular Engagement: Participate in school activities that promote language learning, such as language clubs, cultural events, and study trips.

Pay: ₹23,800.00 - ₹38,800.00 per month
