Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Lesson Planning and Delivery:
• Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive lesson plans for English language and literature.
• Teach grammar, composition, literature, and language skills according to the curriculum.
• Utilize various instructional strategies and technologies to cater to different learning styles.
• Classroom Management:
• Create and maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Manage student behavior and foster a respectful and inclusive atmosphere.
• Implement effective classroom management techniques to maintain discipline.
• Assessment and Evaluation:
• Design and administer tests, quizzes, and assignments to assess students’ understanding and progress.
• Provide constructive feedback and grades for student performance.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students’ academic progress.
• Student Support:
• Offer additional support to students who need help with English language skills or literary comprehension.
• Identify and address individual learning needs and provide differentiated instruction.
• Curriculum Development:
• Assist in the development and updating of English curriculum materials and resources.
• Incorporate diverse and contemporary literature and language resources into the curriculum.
• Parent and Guardian Communication:
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding students’ academic performance, behavior, and progress.
• Conduct parent-teacher conferences as needed to discuss student development.
• Professional Development:
• Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with educational best practices.
• Participate in school meetings, workshops, and training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• A Master’s degree or additional qualifications in English or Education is a plus.
• Certification:
• Valid teaching certification or license as required by the state or country.
• Experience:
• Previous teaching experience, particularly in teaching English at the relevant grade level, is preferred.
• Experience with curriculum development and classroom management is advantageous.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
