Job Description – English TGT Teacher (ICSE)
We are hiring a passionate and experienced English TGT Teacher for our ICSE Curriculum School located in Palamaner, near Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh.
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare lesson plans, academic schedules, and instructional materials aligned with the ICSE curriculum.
Teach English Language and Literature effectively using interactive and student-centered teaching methods.
Develop students’ reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and communication skills.
Conduct classroom activities such as debates, presentations, storytelling, public speaking, and creative writing sessions.
Assess and evaluate students’ academic performance through assignments, projects, tests, and regular feedback.
Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Identify students who require additional academic support and coordinate with parents and school counselors when necessary.
Participate actively in school events, competitions, staff meetings, workshops, and training programs.
Encourage students to improve spoken English and build confidence in communication skills.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature or a related field.
B.Ed. qualification is mandatory.
Master’s Degree in English is preferred.
Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in ICSE/CBSE schools.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
Strong command of English grammar, literature, and language teaching methodologies.
Ability to engage students through creative and activity-based learning techniques.
