Job Description:
We are currently seeking a talented and imaginative Women's Indian Ethnic Wear Print Designer to join
our innovative design team. The ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for detail, a passion for
Indian textile traditions, and a flair for creating captivating print designs that resonate with our target
audience. As a print designer, you will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing, developing, and executing
print designs for our diverse range of women ethnic wear.
Responsibilities:
Researching and identifying key trends in print design, textile art, and Indian cultural motifs.
Conceptualizing and creating original print designs inspired by Indian heritage, nature, folklore,
and contemporary influences.
Developing print motifs, patterns, and colorways that align with our brand aesthetic and target
demographic.
Collaborating closely with the design team to integrate print designs seamlessly into garment
silhouettes and collections.
Creating detailed technical specifications and artwork files for production purposes.
Working closely with textile printers and suppliers to ensure the accurate reproduction of print
designs on various fabrics.
Conducting print development and sampling to assess color accuracy, print quality, and fabric
compatibility.
Maintaining an organized library of print assets and archives for reference and inspiration.
Keeping abreast of market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in print
design.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
Proven experience of 4 years or more working as a print designer, preferably in the field of
women's Indian ethnic wear.
Strong portfolio showcasing original print designs, color palettes, and textile artwork.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and CAD programs.
In-depth knowledge of traditional Indian textile techniques, motifs, and cultural symbolism
