Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs, ensuring a positive experience
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions and cash handling
Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits to customers
Maintain organized merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts
Support inventory management by receiving shipments and replenishing stock regularly
Assist with upselling products to maximize sales opportunities
Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, offering recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction
Skills
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
Previous supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings
Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases
Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions
Experience in grocery store or retail sales environments preferred
Ability to handle phone inquiries professionally with good phone etiquette
Skills in merchandising, stocking, and product demonstrations to enhance store presentation and sales performance
Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory counts
