Telugu Script Writer (Freelance / Part-Time | Remote)
Job Description
This isn't news reading or voiceover narration. This is deep storytelling — temple rituals, sacred history, architecture, and traditions presented with a level of research depth that doesn't exist in Telugu YouTube today.
What you'll do
You'll take detailed English research outlines (with facts, verse references, and narrative structure) and turn them into natural, conversational Telugu scripts ready for on-camera delivery. The tone is scholarly but accessible — like explaining something fascinating to a friend, not lecturing.
What we're looking for
→ Native Telugu speaker with excellent writing skills
→ Ability to write in a natural, spoken Telugu register — not textbook Telugu, not heavy Sanskritized prose
→ Comfortable working from English-language research material and adapting it into Telugu
→ Strong storytelling instincts — knowing how to build suspense, land a revelation, and keep viewers hooked across 30+ minutes
→ 1-2 years of experience in content writing, scriptwriting, or journalism (Telugu preferred)
→ Reliable weekly turnaround — one episode per week
Nice to have
→ Familiarity with temples, Hindu traditions, Agama Shastra, or Indian history
→ Experience writing for YouTube or long-form video
→ Understanding of YouTube retention — hooks, cliffhangers, chapter breaks
→ Ability to do supplementary research when needed
→ Comfort with a Tenglish register (Telugu narration with natural English terms where they fit)
Why this is worth your time
→ You'll be writing about genuinely fascinating subjects — not trending gossip or news recycling
→ Deep research is already done for you — your job is to bring it alive in Telugu
→ Fully remote — work from anywhere
→ Consistent weekly cadence — steady, predictable work
→ Be part of building something from the ground up in a space with zero competition
