Job Description
We are looking for a Tele Account Manager who will support lead generation, client outreach, solution awareness, and sales coordination for tax technology solutions. The role is suitable for a fresher or early-career professional with minimum 1 year of experience who can understand client requirements, and assist senior team members in building customer engagement within the Tax Technology Practice.
Job Description:
• Assist in identifying and researching potential customers across target accounts and industry segments.
• Support outreach activities through calls, emails, LinkedIn, events, and other approved channels.
• Understand basic customer requirements and capture initial business needs accurately for senior sales or functional consultants.
• Maintain and update client interaction records, lead status, and follow-up actions in the CRM or tracking system.
• Assist in scheduling meetings, product walk through, application demonstrations, and follow-up discussions with prospects.
• Learn and communicate the basic value proposition of AI-based and non-AI-based tax technology solutions, including Navigate Tax Suite or similar offerings.
• Support senior team members during client discussions by preparing basic notes, sales collateral's, and meeting summaries.
• Coordinate with product, technical, implementation, and functional teams to gather information required for client responses.
• Track follow-ups with prospects and ensure timely communication under guidance from the reporting manager.
• Develop understanding of taxation, compliance, and tax technology trends through internal training and self-learning.
• Support basic sales reporting, pipeline updates, and daily/weekly activity dashboards.
• Provide first-level coordination support to customers and internal teams during demos, on boarding discussions, and issue handovers.
Job Requirements:
• Basic competency in MS Office, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good verbal and written communication skills with willingness to improve business communication.
• Interest in sales, business development, technology solutions, taxation, finance, or compliance domain.
• Ability to understand client requirements at a basic level and escalate details to senior team members.
• Strong learning attitude, curiosity, and willingness to work in a structured sales environment.
• Good coordination, follow-up, and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle calling, outreach, lead tracking, and basic sales documentation.
• Positive attitude, resilience, and ability to work with targets and timelines under supervision.
• Team player with basic problem-solving skills and ownership of assigned tasks.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. CA-Inter, MBA, BBA, B.Com, or similar qualification will be preferred but not mandatory.
Required Skill sets
Basic understanding of sales, customer engagement, lead generation, taxation, finance, compliance, or technology solutions. Prior internship or exposure to B2B sales, inside sales, software sales, CRM tools, or consulting support will be an added advantage.
