JOB DESCRIPTION FOR TELECALLER - COLLECTIONS

We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Telecaller for our Collections team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with tact and professionalism. You will be responsible for contacting customers to collect outstanding payments and resolve any issues that may be preventing timely payments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Contact customers via phone to remind them of overdue payments.
• Negotiate payment plans and terms with customers to facilitate timely payments.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues related to their accounts.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions with customers.
• Follow up with customers as necessary to ensure payment commitments are met.
• Provide exceptional customer service while managing difficult conversations.
• Collaborate with the collections team to improve collection rates and processes.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding debt collection.
• Stay informed about changes in company policies and legal regulations related to debt collection.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a tele-caller or similar role, preferably in collections.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Basic understanding of relevant legal requirements and regulations.
• Proficient in using CRM software and other relevant computer applications.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in finance, business, or related field is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
