Job Description
At Westernacher Consulting, we are expanding our footprint in the energy sector to support a major client undergoing a large-scale digital transformation. As part of this initiative, we are seeking an experienced SAP VIM Architect to lead the design and implementation of robust invoice management solutions.
This role is critical in helping our client modernize their financial operations, improve invoice processing efficiency, and ensure compliance within a complex and highly regulated industry. You will play a key role in shaping scalable, future-ready architectures that integrate seamlessly within the broader SAP ecosystem.
Your Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain interfaces between SAP EWM and third-party systems such as WCS, TMS, ERP, and carrier systems.
Implement integration technologies including IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and middleware tools (SAP PI/PO, CPI, MuleSoft).
Ensure accurate and timely exchange of master data, transactional data, and status updates between SAP EWM and external systems.
Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing for automated processes and interfaces.
Develop custom enhancements using ABAP, BADIs, user exits, and other integration techniques.
Design and implement RF frameworks, EDI/IDoc interfaces, and integrations with third-party logistics systems.
Perform system configuration, custom code reviews, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
Define technical standards, design documentation, and architecture blueprints.
Guide and mentor development teams during implementation and support phases.
Support project planning, resource estimation, and effort forecasting for EWM technical tasks.
Your Skills & Qualifications
7-10 years of EWM ABAP experience
Experience in one or more of the following:
PPF Actions (Post Processing Framework)
RF Framework applications; Screen Personas
Warehouse Monitor enhancements
WOCR (Warehouse Order Creation Rules)
Cartonization processes
Replenishment processes
Putaway strategies
Custom reports, interfaces, and forms
Implement BADIs, BAPIs, User Exits, Enhancement Spots, and custom frameworks.
