Our diverse portfolio includes Architecture, Interior Design, Exhibitions and Events, and Urban Design projects focusing on infrastructure development, institutions, and eco-tourism. Our work encompasses several notable projects, such as the Development of Lake Periphery and Governor Hill at Saputara and the Narmada Riverfront Development at Karnali, Vadodara, among others.
At ARG, we design contextually appropriate, characterful, responsive, and experiential environments.
Role Description:
This is a full-time role based in Gandhinagar for a Senior Civil Engineer (3-5 years of field experience), with an immediate joining. We are looking for a professional responsible for preparing BOQs and tenders, detailed project reports (DPR), project estimation, and working closely with the project team to ensure that estimates are accurate and aligned with the project scope and budget. The candidate will also be expected to make regular site visits to ensure quality checks.
The candidate should be based in Ahmedabad or Gandhinagar, or willing to relocate since this is an on-site vacancy.
Location: Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India
Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation and project estimation
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
• Experience negotiating with contractors, suppliers, and vendors
• Ability to conduct research, analyze data, and apply findings to estimates and tender preparation
• Good understanding of construction schedules, labour costs, and material costs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Autocad software
• 3 to 5 years of experience working in the architecture or construction industry is a must
