Technical Sales & Partnerships Manager

Location: Remote

As the Technical Sales & Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities outside India, managing and nurturing inbound leads, and developing long-term partnerships. You will be the point of contact for prospective clients, translating their business needs into tailored software solutions. Your technical understanding and consultative approach will allow you to guide clients effectively through the discovery and solutioning process.

This role requires a combination of strong sales skills and a solid grasp of software development, APIs, CI/CD, and digital transformation projects. We are looking for someone with hands-on technical experience who can effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that project requirements are accurately captured and aligned with our development capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities outside India, targeting industries that would benefit from digital transformation projects.

- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with companies and technology vendors to enhance business opportunities.

- Act as the company representative at relevant industry events, meetups, and conferences.

2. Consultative Sales:

- Engage in consultative selling by understanding client challenges and offering solutions tailored to their needs.

- Leverage your technical background to engage with CTOs, technical leads, and business stakeholders to articulate our value proposition effectively.

- Develop and deliver compelling proposals, pitches, and presentations that communicate our technical expertise and business value.

3. Lead Management:

- Respond to inbound leads in a timely manner, qualifying them and guiding them through the sales funnel.

- Capture all customer requirements accurately, ensuring a thorough understanding of their business and technical needs.

- Work closely with the technical team to ensure proposals and project plans meet customer expectations.

4. Collaboration and Reporting:

- Collaborate with the technical and delivery teams to ensure customer requirements are translated into project deliverables.

- Provide regular updates to leadership on sales pipeline progress, partnership developments, and forecasted revenue.

- Use CRM tools to track all leads, opportunities, and client communications.5. Remuneration:

- This role will offer a base salary with a significant portion linked to performance-based quarterly bonuses based on revenue generated, partnerships closed, and customer satisfaction scores.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of sales experience in the software development/IT services industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Hands-on experience with web/mobile development, APIs, cloud technologies, or CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to engage in consultative sales and foster long-term client relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Experience working with international clients and familiarity with different business cultures.
• Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and thrive in a remote working environment.

Preferred Experience:
• Experience working in B2B sales within sectors like BFSI, eCommerce, or SaaS.
• Existing network or contacts within industries that would benefit from digital transformation.
• Prior experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation tools.
