Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Technical Project Manager with a strong background in Java and Node.js development. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, project management acumen, and leadership skills. You will manage complex software development projects from initiation through delivery while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time and high-quality execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage end-to-end software development projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Coordinate and collaborate with developers, QA engineers, architects, DevOps, and stakeholders.
Oversee technical deliverables, including architecture reviews, code reviews, and deployment readiness.
Drive project planning, scope definition, timeline estimation, and risk management.
Ensure technical feasibility and alignment of solutions with business goals and architectural standards.
Facilitate sprint ceremonies—standups, planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Track project performance using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and other project management platforms.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear communication and expectation alignment.
Mentor and guide team members in both technical and professional development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3–5 years in project or technical management roles.
Strong understanding of Java and Node.js technologies and enterprise-level software architecture.
Proven track record of managing full-stack development projects, preferably involving microservices and cloud-based deployments.
Deep understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps principles.
Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Git, Jenkins, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification is a plus.
Experience working in high-compliance environments (e.g., healthcare, finance, government).
Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular) is an advantage.
Experience managing distributed or offshore development teams.
