We are seeking a Technical Information Designer Intern to join our team. As a Technical Information Designer Intern, you will work closely with our technical writers and subject matter experts to design and create technical documentation for our products and services. You will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly technical content that meets industry standards. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in technical communication and exposure to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
• Design and create visually appealing technical documentation, such as user manuals, installation guides, and release notes
• Collaborate with technical writers to ensure that technical content is accurate and up-to-date
• Ensure that all content adheres to company style guides and standards
• Use design tools and software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, to create engaging visuals and graphics
• Organize and manage document templates and layouts
• Learn and utilize various technical writing tools and software, such as Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, and Microsoft Word
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Technical Communication, Graphic Design, or a related field
• Strong visual design skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with technical writing best practices and style guides
• Proficiency in design tools and software, such as Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to learn new software quickly
• Experience with technical writing tools, such as Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, or Microsoft Word, is a plus
