Position Title
Tech Workshop Facilitator
Position Summary
The School of Trades and Technology is seeking a term-certain Tech Workshop Facilitator
from July 2, 2026 to June 30, 2027.
The Tech Workshop Facilitator is responsible for the coordination and delivery of the Red Hot Science Tech Workshops, as well as the maintenance of all tech equipment and supplies used in the Red Hot Science program. The Tech Workshop Facilitator also actively participates in training and professional development opportunities as they become available, and actively acquires knowledge with the latest technology and training for youth.
Red Deer Polytechnic’s School of Trades and Technology is a multidisciplinary school committed to innovation, applied learning, and student success across a broad spectrum of programs. We are Alberta’s third-largest provider of Skilled Trades Apprenticeship training, offering 17 trades and two Engineering Technology diplomas. RDP is a major sponsor of Skills Canada Alberta and has seen many of our students excel in Skills competitions provincially, nationally, and at World Skills. Alongside this, our Science and Computing programs are rapidly growing, offering certificates, diplomas, university transfer options, and collaborative degrees that prepare students for careers in research, industry, health, and technology.
