Job Description
Position: Tech Lead – Java Fullstack
Experience: 7+ years
Location: Pune (Hybrid)
Roles & Responsibilities
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-quality Java microservices that integrate with modern front-end frameworks and third-party applications.
• Apply 12-factor app principles to ensure robust, scalable, and cloud-ready solutions.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle including planning, coding, testing, reviews, and delivery.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, TPMs, and test engineers to align technical and business goals.
• Perform code reviews, submit and manage Git pull requests, and support continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to engineering best practices and compliance with enterprise security, operations, and architecture standards.
• Optimize application performance and reliability for large-scale, high-traffic systems.
Must Have Skills
• Extensive experience as a Fullstack Engineer/Developer in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong backend development experience with Java.
• Expertise in designing and developing secure, scalable microservices with solid knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and integration patterns.
• Advanced SQL knowledge with databases like PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc., and proven experience in building scalable solutions.
• Hands-on experience with front-end technologies including HTML, JavaScript, and Angular.
• Strong working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Proficiency in CI/CD practices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), DevOps practices, automated testing, and Git.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical and non-technical ideas clearly.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on process improvements, innovation, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Good to Have Skills
• Experience in commercial card or corporate banking domains.
• Familiarity with enterprise payment systems or financial services infrastructure.
• Proven ability to manage or lead complex technical projects and mentor junior developers.
