Tech Business Analyst

Job Your role The Tech Business Analyst is a key member of the BPA CoE team who can understand and document business processes and requirements. They work with developers to translate these into technical solutions. The Tech Business Analyst will also be responsible for developing proposals for changes or enhancements to existing solutions and ways of working. They will be responsible for engaging business and technical stakeholders to elicit requirements and perform detailed business analysis to effect changes or enhancements across the suite of BPA solutions, centered on Automation Anywhere and WorkFusion. As part of the role, responsibilities may include: . conducting information gathering activities such as surveying, analyzing and evaluating processes, products and services, by using a variety of internal and/or external data . driving out required solutions and assisting in implementation . documenting as is and to be processes and business and technical requirements documents . recommending improvements, solutions and producing the respective implementation plans . ensuring adherence to defined principles, guidelines and processes . reconciling requirements with different stakeholders and ensuring communication and traceability . supporting development engineers by describing and defining processes and requirements . eliciting, analyzing, negotiating, validating and communicating requirements and their respective impact on different stakeholders . identifying and documenting the main stakeholders and other sources (e.g. existing systems, regulations) for functional and non-functional requirements . embed Risk Awareness in definition of requirements and solutions, proactively identifying and raising control deficiencies and driving diligent and sustainable risk remediation. . adhering to technology and business best practices whilst proactively innovating where opportunities arise . maintaining core training and guidance documents used across the bank, ensuring they are clear, concise, and remain up to date . provide guidance and recommendations for how guidance materials are best made available to end users . coordination of document reviews across relevant contributors and document owners Join us At UBS, we embrace flexible ways of working when the role permits. The team is responsible for a portfolio of RPA and Machine Learning products including Automation Anywhere and WorkFusion, along with critical ancillary solutions which enable monitoring and orchestration. These tools are used across the bank by nearly all business teams and functions to automate business processes. Your expertise . proven ability to work on multiple products and/or processes of medium to high complexity in parallel. . 5 years minimum experience related to Projects / Change Programs . excellent analytical and problem-solving skills . have experience of working within an agile
