We want our team members to be influencers in making shifts exciting like the nights during Mardi Gras. And celebrate the love for fried chicken to everyone walking through those doors, we want our customers to see and taste the magic of Popeyes.
Our expectations don’t stop there, our customers love coming into a clean restaurant and our team members love working in a clean kitchen. You will be the pioneer of keeping everything spotless for the next hangout, family dinner, or date!

What began with one small restaurant and one big idea turned into a craze that swept the USA and the world … and now is coming to New Zealand. Let’s be honest here - we’re not an invented fast food, but boldly seasoned real food, hand-crafted (never mass produced) made by real cooks and deeply rooted in the traditions of Cajun cuisine.
We believe in the spice of life and the power of good food. Our love for spice, flavour, and real food with heart. We’re all about manaakitanga… hanging out at Popeyes, sharing experiences, and creating moments of joy. We’re building a new NZ business that will be soulful, proud, street smart, big hearted….and we want you to join our movement!
As part of the recruitment process, you will be required to complete an online chat interview. This will take you just 20 minutes and will need to be completed within 24 hours of submitting your application. Once you've completed it, you’ll receive a personality profile which will tell you a little bit more about yourself.
Application Process:
As part of your application, you’ll be asked to complete a short online chat interview. It takes around 15 minutes and gives us a chance to get to know you a bit better
If you’re short on time, no worries, you can save your progress and come back to finish it later. We definitely encourage you to take your time and give the chat questions a good go.
Because the chat interview is part of our selection process, you’ll just need to make sure it’s completed for your application to move through to the next stage.
