Employer’s Profile: Mobisec Technologies Pvt Ltd is a cybersecurity startup incubated at FITT, IIT Delhi and NCoE for Cyber Security under DSCI. The company offers cybersecurity products and services to its clients in Government/ Defence/ LEA/ Public/ Private sectors.

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Lead Developer, you will play a critical role in leading and managing the development team and QA team to ensure the successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate should have a B.E. degree, a minimum of 6 years of experience in software development, experience of team management, and a strong proficiency in a wide range of technologies.

Responsibilities:

· Lead and manage the development team and QA team, providing technical guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, QA engineers and clients, to define project requirements, scope, and timelines.

· Architect and develop scalable and high-quality software solutions using Python/Django, React, JavaScript and SQL/ NoSQL databases.

· Design and implement secure coding practices to ensure the protection of sensitive data and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.

· Oversee the implementation of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes to improve development efficiency and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

· Manage and optimize databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB, to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.

· Utilize full-stack development skills to contribute to both back-end and front-end development tasks as required.

· Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members, fostering a culture of code quality and continuous improvement.

· Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, working closely with the team to ensure timely resolution.

· Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation and improve development processes.

Knowledge Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E.) or a related field. (required)

· Proficiency in Python/Django, React, JavaScript, and full-stack development. (required)

· Solid understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and tools for automated software deployment. (required)

· Proficiency in Git for version control and collaborative development. (required)

· Strong team management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members towards project success. (preferred)

· Familiarity with secure coding practices and vulnerability mitigation techniques. (preferred)

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and find innovative solutions. (preferred)

Work Experience Requirements:

· Minimum 6-8 years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of leading development teams (required). Note candidates below 6 years’ experience would not be considered.

· Experience with databases, such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB, for efficient data storage and retrieval. (required)

· Experience with shell scripting and working in both Windows and Linux operating systems. (required)
