Roster Management: Assist Area Managers in building team rosters 8-12 weeks in advance to ensure optimal coverage.
Quality Care Delivery: Ensure that client care plans, including BSP, and other support plans, are being followed and meet the needs of each participant.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure coordinated care and ongoing support.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure the homes are compliant with relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies while maintaining high-quality records and completing mandatory reporting.
Direct Care: Provide hands-on support for participants, including meal preparation, personal care, administering medication, and assisting with daily activities.
About You:
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
A minimum of 1 year of experience in supervising or leading a team of disability support workers.
Experience supporting individuals with a range of disabilities, including mental health, autism, and challenging behaviors.
Previous experience working across multiple group homes or SIL houses.
Proficiency in basic Excel for creating weekly reports.
A Certificate III in Disability (or similar/higher qualification).
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with both participants and team members.
Empathy for the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities and a commitment to Person-Centered Practices.
Organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A NSW Driver’s License (or equivalent) and access to your own car is desirable.
