Job Description
Job Title: Team Leader, IS&T Contracts and Assets
The Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) Service supports the frontline policing and corporate operations of SAPOL through the provision of ICT infrastructure and communication platforms, operational software applications, and support services.
About the Role:
Leading a specialist team in establishing, embedding, evaluating, and continuously improving IS&T asset management, including software licensing and IS&T contract management related services.
Collaborating with the SAPOL Procurement and Contract Management Branch to provide expert advice on contract establishment, management, non-compliance, and related policy and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementing and scaling a standard framework for the end-to-end lifecycle for contracts and assets (both hardware and software) within SAPOL's IS&T Service.
Providing consistent and reliable advice to executives, business managers, and staff on contract-related policies and procedures.
Developing plans, strategies, and processes to improve ICT contract administration and hardware and software asset management programs and services.
Requirements:
Demonstrated knowledge in contract establishment, management, and governance.
Experience initiating, delivering, and evaluating ICT contract administration and hardware and software asset management programs and services, within a complex organisation.
Comprehensive knowledge of contract and asset management principles and practices, ideally in an ICT context.
