About the role

As a Team Leader – Electronic Monitoring in Adult Community Corrections, you’ll play a pivotal leadership role — guiding a dedicated team responsible for monitoring offenders on community orders with an electronic monitoring requirement, including those who present with higher risks. You’ll help uphold community safety, ensure high‑standard case management, and provide trusted, professional advice to key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

The position includes shift work, and the incumbent will be required to work on weekends and public holidays.
Manage day‑to‑day team operations to ensure consistent, high‑standard of monitoring offenders and delivery of services.
Coach, mentor and develop staff, identifying training needs and supporting professional growth.
Allocate workloads, manage rostering, monitor performance, and maintain high-quality reporting and documentation.
Provide accurate, informed advice to staff, ACC Centres, and key stakeholders.
Promote departmental values, uphold integrity, and contribute to reform, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Support operational planning, resource allocation, and lead teams delivering out‑of‑hours monitoring services.
Eligibility

To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.
