About the role:
We’re looking a Driver Assistant to join our Auckland Transport team. You will work alongside Drivers to:
Load and unload freight
Pickup and deliver freight
Make sure items arrived safely and in good condition
Complete scanning and paperwork
Key Responsibilities:
Perform all tasks in a safe manner and follow company rules, training and procedures
Wear the correct uniform and PPE at all times and maintain a professional appearance
Assist with daily vehicle checks
Load and unload freight safely (including team lifting where required)
Assist with pickup and delivering freight with Drivers
Help complete deliveries on time, including unpacking or basic setup if required
Complete scanning and delivery paperwork
Be friendly, polite, and helpful when dealing with customers and others
What We Offer:
Full Time Position with the hours worked between 7:00am and 5:00pm based in Auckland.

Experience in a similar role is helpful, but not required
Physically fit (lifting, pushing, and moving freight is part of the job)
Good communication skills
Basic computer/scanning sills
