Summary
The role
5 mornings as a SEND TA and 3 afternoons teaching Spanish on Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays.
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant and Spanish PPA Teacher to join our team in the Ellesmere Port area. This role involves supporting students' learning and providing high-quality language instruction at our partner schools. Your contribution will help create engaging educational experiences aligned with our mission to support diverse learners.
Responsibilities
Assist classroom teachers in delivering lessons and supporting student learning.
Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students, including those with special educational needs.
Support the planning and implementation of engaging Spanish language activities.
Foster an inclusive environment that encourages participation from all students.
Monitor student progress and report on their development.
Collaborate with teaching staff to adapt lessons for diverse learners.
Promote positive behavior and a respectful classroom atmosphere.
Proven experience working with children, especially in educational settings.
Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable.
Experience supporting students with special educational needs or disabilities.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Passion for education and supporting student development.
Relevant qualifications in teaching or childcare are preferred.
Experience working with individuals with autism is advantageous.
