Teacher/Tutor
Job Description
This is not a traditional classroom teaching role. You'll deliver practical, engaging learning to small groups while being supported by experienced leaders who oversee curriculum planning and quality assurance. Qualified Teacher Status is welcome but not essential.
You will:
Deliver Open Awards Skills Passport qualifications through engaging, practical activities.
Support learners completing PASS.tech Functional Skills English and Maths (planning and assessment provided).
Deliver Preparing for Adulthood activities.
Build trusted relationships with young people who may experience anxiety, trauma or emotional regulation difficulties.
Adapt learning to individual interests and EHCP outcomes.
Work creatively through vocational, project-based and outdoor learning.
Record learner progress and portfolio evidence.
Work closely with Learning Support Assistants and the leadership team.

Qualified Teacher Status is welcomed but is not essential. Applications from experienced Teaching Assistants, Learning Mentors, FE Tutors, Youth Workers and Vocational Trainers are encouraged.
