The North Shore Hebrew Academy (NSHA) is a co-educational Preschool-Grade 12 Modern Orthodox Yeshiva that inspires students to become passionate learners, critical thinkers, problem solvers and dedicated community members.
We are seeking a caring, experienced and dynamic teacher to join our Early Childhood Studies team. An ideal candidate will have experience teaching in a PreK or Kindergarten classroom and will be familiar with academic curricula like Fundations, Go Math, and teaching with decodable texts. Teachers are responsible for planning and executing a variety of different kinds of lessons, helping students to develop social and emotional competencies, communicating with parents, and collaborating with their colleagues.
An ideal candidate will possess a love of teaching children, excitement for trying new curricula and methodologies, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ideal Candidates will possess the following qualifications:
BA required
MA in early childhood preferred
A minimum of three years teaching in an early childhood setting
A teaching philosophy that focuses on growth in academic, social and emotional domains
A collaborative, teamwork-oriented approach
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Salary Range: $45,000-60,000
