About the role
We’re seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Human Services students!
Share your skills and passion for human services, and help students build the knowledge, qualifications, and employability to support their career goals.
Drawing on your experience and expertise in the human services sector, you will deliver high-quality educational programs and facilitate learning across areas such as community services, case management, and client support, enabling students to achieve strong outcomes.
You will provide flexible and engaging learning experiences, undertake assessment and evaluation, liaise with community service organisations and industry stakeholders, maintain industry and teaching currency, and contribute to a supportive, safe, and inclusive learning environment that reflects best practice in vocational education and training.
Please note this is a part-time role working 3 days per week, with flexibility in days based on business requirements.
About You
To be successful in the role, you will:
Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills, and at minimum hold a Bachelor Degree in either Human Services, Social Work, Justice Studies, Counselling or similar
Have a minimum of three years post-qualification experience in human services, gained no longer than five years previously.
Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document here for details.
Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.
